We are all getting ready for the next Modern 'til Midnight on Friday (this Friday, the 17th!).  We have a ton going on in both exhibitions, as well as all over the museum. 

In the galleries, there will be tours through Kara Walker: My Complement, My Enemy, My Oppressor, My Love and Hubbard/Birchler: No Room to Answer.  Also, our education staff has come up with some great little projects related to the exhibitions for everyone to exercise their creative chops.  I won't spoil them though, so you have to come and see/play for yourself.  In the auditorium, the Lone Star International Film Festival will be showing The First Saturday in May at 8 pm.  The Cafe is going to be open for dinner until 9 pm and the coffee bar will be open until 11 pm. 

And finally, there will be some excellent live music.  Here is the lineup for the bands:

7 pm starts off with Baby Dee.

7:50 - Stumptone

8:50 - Telegraph Canyon

9:30 - Mount Righteous will be performing out in the crowd

10:10 - Dove Hunter

And finally at 11, Mucca Pazza will finish out the night with a bang.
