Day in the District

If you don't already have plans for tomorrow, let me suggest something. Tomorrow is the second annual Day in the District festival at which all of the museums will be free. That includes special exhibits like the Ron Mueck show, for free. Also, throughout the Cultural District, there will be performances by the area arts and cultural organizations. All free.

And, to top it all off, if you come tomorrow, we might just open Declaring Space a day early. This exhibition is incredible. I know I say this every time we open a show, but really it is. These are paintings you will NEVER see together, or more accurately, see outside of their home institutions or collections. They rarely travel, if ever, so it is worth coming out to see them.

So, here is more information about the Day in the District festival with a full schedule (link directly to a printable pdf here). Did I mention it's free?
