Welcome to the Modern Blog. These postings are meant to encourage participation. We hope to create discussions and stimulate new ideas. Right now we have a few authors who have been recruited into our blogging staff, so let me introduce everyone. Leslie is one of our Assistant Curators of Education, and she spends most of her days in the galleries looking at art, talking about art, and thinking about how to talk about art. Pam is our resident editor and logophile. After thirteen years of professional reading, she is full of off-the-wall and amazing facts and words. If one of us is stumped in our writing, we always turn to Pam for guidance and those "is it who or whom?" questions. Erin is our Curatorial Research Assistant. Reading, researching, and looking at art from all over the world for our curators, Erin comes across some really interesting things over the course of a day. Stefanie is one of our Public Relations interns this semester. She is a grad student at TCU, getting her masters degree in art history. Interning at the Modern isn't just making copies and getting coffee. Our interns have good ideas, and Stefanie is no exception. Brett is another of our PR interns. Currently earning his BFA in photography at TCU, Brett sees the Museum from behind the camera. Finally my name is Dustin. I work in the PR department, and like almost all of us listed here, this is my first foray into the blogging world. So now...on with the blog.
