The Chamber Music Society of Fort Worth is thrilled to present the Montrose Trio in concert on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 2:00 pm in the auditorium of the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth. The Pre-concert Conversation with Laurie Shulman and Gary Levinson begins at 1:15 in the auditorium.

In this special program designed for people with hearing loss, participants experience works of art at the Modern through intimate conversation with specially-trained docents and student-ASL interpreters. Offered the fourth Tuesday of each month, with limited space for participants at 10 am, each program lasts 90 minutes and includes a gallery activity. Please make reservations at least a week in advance by calling 817.840.2118. This free program includes admission to the galleries and all materials.

The Shooting (Monte Hellman, 1966) After working on Back Door to Hell and Flight to Fury, Monte Hellman’s relationship with Roger Corman and Jack Nicholson enabled him to direct the celebrated, genre-defying western The Shooting. Starring Warren Oates, Will Hutchins, and Jack Nicholson, and written by Carole Eastman, The Shooting pushed the western genre into more heady territory and defined the celebrated director’s early career.
