The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth presents FRAMING DESIRE, an exhibition showcasing over 40 recent acquisitions alongside iconic photographs and videos from the permanent collection. The Museum has acquired key works by Cory Arcangel, Artemio, Larry Clark, Philip-Lorca diCorcia, Rineke Dijkstra, Debbie Grossman, Candida Höfer, Misty Keasler, Ragnar Kjartansson, Vera Lutter, Robert Mapplethorpe, Gordon Matta-Clark, Ryan McGinley, Nicholas Nixon, Catherine Opie, Orit Raff, Laurie Simmons, Allison V. Smith, Arne Svenson, Frank Thiel, and Gillian Wearing.

The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth presents a new installation of the permanent collection. This re-arrangement consists of treasured favorites, rarely seen works from the vault, and new acquisitions.
In support of the Modern’s role to promote life-long learning, Modern Salon is a gathering of interested parties to entertain curiosities and probe ideas surrounding a chosen topic. This new program strives to connect our community to ideas hosted by the Modern through exhibitions, acquisitions, and other generators of thought and discourse.
he first Friday of each month, the Star-Telegram, the Modern, and Café Modern team up to bring you live music and cocktails in the museum's Grand Lobby from 5 to 8 pm. Bring your friends and enjoy diverse live performances, unique cocktail selections, and the opportunity to dine in Café Modern by night. A docent-led, 20-minute tour of the galleries is available at 6:30 pm (regular gallery admission applies). Gallery admission is free for Modern members and Star-Telegram Press Pass holders during First Fridays at the Modern.
Learn with local artists as they lead informal basic drawing classes in the galleries. This free class is open to adults at all skill levels—just bring a sketchbook and pencils. Registration is not required, but participants should sign in at the information desk. 2-3:30 pm
