A collaborative summer program for educators features daylong sessions at The Rachofsky Collection, Nasher Sculpture Center, Dallas Museum of Art, Kimbell Art Museum, and Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth. While deepening their understanding of contemporary and modern art and architecture, participating middle and high school teachers will develop interpretive and instructional strategies for exploring artworks in the classroom and museum galleries.

This special program is designed for people with memory loss and their caregivers. Participants experience works of art at the Modern through intimate conversations with docents and thoughtful projects designed by the Museum’s education staff. Two sessions are offered on select Wednesdays, with space for 20 participants at both 10 am and 2 pm. This free program includes admission to the galleries and all materials.

A docent-led, twenty-minute tour of the galleries is available at 6:30 pm. The tour is free for Modern members and Star-Telegram Press Pass Holders. Admission to the galleries is $10, $4 for students and seniors, free for Modern members. On First Friday, gallery admission is free for Star-Telegram Press Pass Holders.

Docents are available to lead a public tour of the Modern’s building, designed by the renowned architect Tadao Ando, on the first Saturday of each month at 11 am. This tour does not require prior arrangements and is free with the price of admission.

Sundays with the Modern offers unique perspectives on the Museum’s architecture, permanent collection, and special exhibitions. Artists, art historians, critics, writers, and architects hold conversations and lead tours in the galleries. This special program is free and begins at 1 pm on the first Sunday of most months.
