FRIDAY NIGHTS AT THE MODERN
Cocktails. Music. Art. Dining.

Café Modern is now open for dinner every Friday evening until 10 pm. Enjoy artfully crafted cuisine served in Tadao Ando’s world renowned building. An evening at the Modern makes for a perfect date night, watch the sunset over the Modern’s reflecting pond as you enjoy a cocktail cleverly inspired by select works from the Museum's permanent collection.

Come early. Stay late. Have a bite to eat and enjoy a Magnolia at the Modern film in the Modern's auditorium (showtimes at 6 and 8 pm). Don't forget to visit the Museum galleries, now open until 8 pm every Friday evening.

First Fridays
The first Friday of each month, the Star-Telegram, the Modern, and Café Modern team up to bring you live music and cocktails in the Museum’s Grand Lobby from 5 to 8 pm. Bring your friends and enjoy diverse live performances, cocktail selections, and dinner in Café Modern. A docent-led, 20-minute tour of the galleries is available at 6:30 pm. The tour is free for Modern members and Star-Telegram Press Pass holders.
