The Human Resources Manager, by Israeli director Eran Riklis, is reminiscent of older-school art films. It serves up a broad humanistic lesson with absurdism and black comedy more sad than barbed, with political and social criticism in evidence but secondary to the characters’ inner lives.” Walter Addiego, San Francisco Chronicle. Riklis’s latest offering is a tragi-comedy centered on the human resources manager of Israel's largest industrial bakery, who sets out to save the reputation of his business and prevent the publication of a defamatory article.

“Richard Press’s celebratory, humorous, and often touching directorial debut captures one of New York’s most appealing characters: obsessive, quietly opinionated octogenarian fashion photographer [Bill] Cunningham, whose whimsical ‘On the Street’ series appears in the Times ‘Styles’ section.” Miranda Siegel, New York Magazine. This charming documentary chronicles the New York Times photographer who is obsessively interested in only one thing: the pictures he takes that document the way people dress.
