MODERN ART MUSEUM OF FORT WORTH
TO PARTICIPATE IN BLUE STAR MUSEUMS
The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth is one of more than 1,800 museums across the United States to offer FREE admission to military personnel and their families this summer.
The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth will participate in Blue Star Museums in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense, and
more than 1,800 museums across America.
Blue Star Museums runs from Memorial Day, May 27, 2013, through Labor Day, September 2, 2013. The Modern will begin free admission on Friday, May 24, and offer it through Sunday, September 1 (the Museum is closed on Labor Day).
The free admission program is available to active-duty military and their families (the military ID holder and five immediate family members). Active-duty military personnel include Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, and National Guard and Reserve members.
