A 1930s-style screwball romantic comedy, albeit with a cheerfully raunchy modern twist, Love & Air Sex centers on a pair of ex-lovers (Ashley Bell and (Michael Stahl-David), their respective best friends (Sara Paxton and Zach Cregger), a gorgeous musician (Addison Timlin) and a hunky Southerner (Justin Arnold), all of whose fates exuberantly collide at the Air Sex World Championships in Austin. (Yes, it’s a real competition!) The gifted Austin-based writer-director Bryan Poyser – best-known for 2010’s Lovers of Hate, which first introduced Girls star Alex Karpovsky to audiences – will introduce the film and conduct a Q&A afterwards. 91 minutes.
The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth partners with film critic Christopher Kelly to host regular "Modern Cinema" screenings - sneak previews of critically acclaimed titles, unsung highlights from the film festival circuit, and newly restored classic films - on a monthly basis. Kelly introduces the films, and closes with a Q&A session. Film titles will be announced 2 weeks in advance. Screenings are held in the Museum's auditorium.
