In this special program designed for people with hearing loss, participants experience works of art at the Modern through intimate conversation with specially-trained docents and student-ASL interpreters. Two sessions are offered the fourth Tuesday of each month, with limited space for participants at 10 am and 2 pm. Each program lasts 90 minutes and includes a gallery activity. RSVP to 817.840.2118. Two sessions of this free program are offered, one for ages 5 to 8 and one for ages 9 to 12. Each session is led by an artist who takes participants through informal drawing exercises in relation to works in the Modern’s galleries. Children under the age of 6 must be accompanied by an adult during the program. Bring a sketchbook and pencils. Attendance is limited, so early arrival is encouraged.
