The first Friday of each month, the Star-Telegram, the Modern, and Café Modern team up to bring you live music and drink specials in the museum's Grand Lobby from 5 to 8 pm. Invite friends to enjoy unique cocktail selections, and the opportunity to dine at the Modern by night. In this special afternoon showcase, revel in performances of pieces by John Corigliano, Frederic Rzewski, Aaron Jay Kernis, and David Del Tredici, as well as the 1981 Cliburn Competition commission of Leonard Bernstein’s “Touches.”
