For Children

Children

The Modern’s unique programs for children emphasize learning through direct observation of art and thoughtful art activities inspired by the permanent collection and special exhibitions. Area artists, museum docents, and education staff design and lead these programs, introducing children to some of the complex and challenging concepts and practices behind modern and contemporary art.
