Museum Forum for Teachers:
Modern & Contemporary Art

Monday, July 20 – Friday, July 24, 2009
10 am – 4 pm, daily

A week-long summer program for educators
presented by Dallas-Fort Worth museums:

The Rachofsky House
Dallas Museum of Art
Nasher Sculpture Center
Kimbell Art Museum
Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth

 

Participating teachers (grades 6-12) will:

  • Deepen their understanding of contemporary and modern art and architecture at a variety of arts institutions in Dallas and Fort Worth
  • Develop strategies to teach, interpret, and use works of art in the classroom and in museum galleries
  • Connect with the collections, resources, and staff at the museums
  • Meet classroom teachers and share ideas

 

Tuition: $250 includes all materials and lunch each day
Program Sessions are held at each of the participating institutions
CPE Credit is available for participation
