I stumbled across this video today (via C-Monster) of a TED talk by artist Vik Muniz. Its a really entertaining insight into how he arrived at each his different bodies of work. Its also great to see some of his early work, which is as much whimsical as it is smart. For those keeping track, Muniz is represented in our collection with one of his Chocolate pieces, titled The Doubting of Thomas, 2000.

TED is a conference at which the movers and shakers in the Technology, Entertainment, and Design world give 18 minute talks about their lives. Way back, Muniz gave a Tuesday Evening lecture in the old building, which is kind of like TED talks, except just for Art related folk and they get an hour.

And I should also casually mention that the Spring Tuesday Evening series begins next Tuesday the 10th.
