The Modern's first Director's Council FOCUS exhibition for the 2014–2015 season features the work of New York-based artist Jules de Balincourt. The exhibition presents a selection of key works spanning the past few years of the artist’s career alongside new works on view for the first time.

This program for families with young children is led by a docent and includes a gallery project designed by the Modern’s education department. Both the tour and project focus on selected works on view in the galleries. Registration is not required, but attendance is limited. A sign-up sheet is provided at the information desk the day of the program. Admission and supplies are free.
November 11—Eric Fischl, a painter, sculptor, and printmaker featured in Urban Theater: New York Art in the 1980s, gained acclaim in the 1980s with large-scale paintings depicting middle-class American life with themes of adolescent sexuality and voyeurism.
