Hands-on exercises relate to works you might remember from visiting the Modern's galleries or are introduced to here and can look forward to visiting in the future. Projects are designed with household materials in mind.

Available for FREE at the information desk. This edition focuses on works from the permanent collection and encourages participants to make artwork while walking through the Modern's galleries. A QR code is included on each page that leads to a short audio clip from a Modern docent.

The Modern is open and free to the public the Monday of Spring Break!
While the museum is normally closed on Mondays, on March 15 our doors are open, admission is waived, and families will enjoy visiting the museum together.
