During this event, view current exhibitions at each Cultural District institution, network with other educators, enjoy great food, learn about educational programs, and receive free classroom resources. Administrators, homeschool educators, librarians, PreK–12 teachers at public and private schools, preservice teachers, and university faculty are welcome. No reservations are needed.

The titles range from 3 to 14 minutes, adopting the full breadth of styles in new animation, from visual music to raunchy music videos, digital processes to analogue filmmaking, and minimalist atmospheric shorts to narratively rich miniature epics. All evoke completely unique worlds.

Two sessions of this free program are offered, one for ages 5 to 8 and one for ages 9 to 12. Each session is led by an artist who takes participants through informal drawing exercises in relation to works in the Modern’s galleries. Children under the age of 6 must be accompanied by an adult during the program. Bring a sketchbook and pencils. Attendance is limited, so early arrival is encouraged.
