This program for children between the ages of 9 and 12 takes a closer look at the contemporary art in this season's FOCUS exhibitions. Each class spends time in the galleries looking and talking about the work before proceeding to the studio for an art activity and further discussion. Sign up early; space is limited. Two sessions of this free program are offered, one for ages 5 to 8 and one for ages 9 to 12. Each session is led by an artist who takes participants through informal drawing exercises in relation to works in the Modern’s galleries.
