Kid Zine Competition

25 Pages Zine Competition!

Artists Randy Guthmiller, Shasta Haubrich, and Lisa Huffaker challenge kids to design zine pages in response to works in the Modern’s collection. There will be a frenzy of art materials and competitive energy! Children can scan and submit their designs for consideration for the Modern’s fifth edition of 25 Pages, which will be available to kids visiting the Modern in the new year. This program is FREE and open to children of all ages. All materials are provided.

We are releasing special-edition 25 Pages in celebration of the Modern’s 125th Anniversary.  Collect all five! These free sketchbooks for children are available at the admission desk beginning the day after Thanksgiving and continuing into the new year. Supply is limited.

Edition 1 – The quick history of the oldest museum in Texas, the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth

Edition 2 – A collaboration with artist Sydney Webb

Edition 3 – A collaboration with artist Kalee Appleton

Edition 4 – A collaboration with artist Kristen Cochran

Edition 5 – A special publication of images and drawings designed by the winner of the Kids Zine Competition!
