MARCH 31, APRIL 7, and 28, MAY 5

This collaborative studio series, held in conjunction with the Kimbell Art Museum’s special exhibition Louis Kahn: The Power of Architecture, explores the creative ideas that inspired Kahn’s work. Over the course of four sessions led by architects Albert Marichal and Josh Nason, participants will enjoy tours, discussion, and studio projects that relate to the exhibition’s themes, such as science and engineering, landscape and nature, and human community.   We will examine the Kahn Building, as well as the neighboring museum buildings whose architects were impacted by Kahn’s legacy: The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth (Tadao Ando) and the Kimbell Piano Pavilion (Renzo Piano).
