An Evening at the Modern

Please join fellow administrators and educators for an evening that highlights and celebrates the importance and benefits of arts education in our schools.

With a special presentation by renowned educator Lois Hetland at 6 pm.

Lois Hetland, Ed.D, is Professor of Art Education at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design and Senior Research Affiliate at Project Zero, Harvard Graduate School of Education.  A co-author of Studio Thinking: The Real Benefits of Visual Arts Education, Lois recently contributed to a collaborative research project—“The Qualities of Quality: Excellence in Arts Education and How to Achieve It.” Trained in music and visual arts, Lois was an elementary and middle school classroom teacher for 17 years.
