"Noodle Lui Finds a Family" Book Signing Event

Meet local author Ronnie Beaty and Noodle Lui for a special book signing event.

Author's Statement-

“I was born in Chicago and moved to Texas for work, so I have been here most of my adult life. My heart likes sand, though, so I hope to retire under palm trees someday.
 
I have always been an animal lover and had pets from different rescue groups. I’m the one at the party with the dog on my lap, having a conversation with him or her.
 
I have a realtor’s license and have owned an event business in the past. My longtime gig is at Neiman Marcus (16 years and counting). I enjoy personal shopping for people, thus my long stay there.
 
As a kid, I always felt like I was different and did not belong. I thought I didn’t fit in. Then I found out that the people around me loved my differences, and I was always meant to be where I was.
 
Noodle had the same experience with us, and when her fur came back, she discovered she was like everyone here!
 
I hope my story will make kids feel more comfortable about their differences and look outward to find love and acceptance with the people in their lives.”
