Modern Contemporaries members (The Modern’s under-forty friends!) are invited to join Curator María Elena Ortiz for a special look at the Museum’s special exhibition, Surrealism and Us: Caribbean and African Diasporic Artists since 1940, which she organized. Enjoy a relaxed evening of cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and a private, after-hours tour of the show. Members will have the rare opportunity to ask María Elena questions in an informal setting and learn more about the significance of this body of work and how she developed the exhibition.
