Drawing from the Collection
Learn with local artists as they lead informal basic drawing classes in the galleries. This free class is open to adults at all skill levels—just bring a sketchbook and pencils. Registration is not required, but participants should sign in at the information desk. 2-3:30 pm

This group of artists, active here in Fort Worth from roughly 1943 to 1958, is closely associated with The Modern. As artists, teachers and mentors, they helped to shape the city’s appreciation for modernism now expressed in its museums and private collections. We look at a few signature works and their development.
