The Modern’s Collection in Ten Acts is a ten-month celebration of the collection featuring a series of dynamic, rotating installations. Opening on October 31, the exhibition offers new perspectives on the Modern’s renowned collection through ten distinct Acts, organized around themes such as color, material, and mark-making. The collection will be enhanced by thoughtfully selected loans that reveal unexpected relationships, deepen conversations across artworks, and invite fresh ways of seeing the collection. With this exhibition, we will also unveil seven recent acquisitions.
