Bing Crosby and Donald O’Connor headline this shipboard musical comedy loosely inspired by Cole Porter’s stage hit. When two show-business partners each promise the same Broadway role to a different leading lady—Mitzi Gaynor and Zizi Jeanmaire—their transatlantic crossing becomes a tuneful tangle of romance, rivalry, and mistaken expectations. Featuring familiar Porter standards alongside lively 1950s musical numbers, Anything Goes offers breezy entertainment with plenty of star power.
