As winter break begins a group of sorority sisters, including Jess (Olivia Hussey) and the often-inebriated Barb (Margot Kidder), begin to receive anonymous, lascivious phone calls. Initially, Barb eggs the caller on, but stops when his responses become threatening. Soon, Barb's friend Clare (Lynne Griffin) goes missing from the sorority house, and a local adolescent girl is murdered. The young women suspect a serial killer is on the loose, but no one realizes just how near the culprit is.
The Fort Worth Film Club (FWFC) partnered in 2022 with the Reel House Foundation after the closing of Fort Worth’s lone art house theater, the Grand Berry Theater. Continuing what the Grand Berry started, FWFC's goal is to build a community in Fort Worth around a shared love of film. The Club hosts free monthly screenings, focusing on films with cultural and local importance. Screenings are open to the public and are followed by a moderated discussion.
