Nora (Greta Lee) and Jung Hae Sung (Teo Yoo), two deeply connected childhood friends, are parted after Nora's family emigrates from South Korea. Two decades later, they are reunited in New York for one fateful week as they confront notions of destiny, love, and the choices that make a life in this modern romance.

The “My Favorite Films” series features tales of romance, humor, suspense, satire, and heroism with films since 1945. These films may hold special memories for you—no matter how many times you see them, they continue to draw you in once more. While many of these films are available through streaming, it's always more fun to see them in the theatre.

This March, let's leap into nostalgia with Magnolia at the Modern favorites and as we revive a beloved segment of our Women Directing Women film series from 2022. Experience the work of acclaimed women directors and powerhouse performances from leading actresses. Don't miss it!
