Known to be director Ingmar Bergman’s favorite of his own films, Winter Light tells the story of Tomas Ericsson (Gunnar Björnstrand), the pastor of a small rural church in Sweden. Following a service, Tomas wrestles with his own troubled relationship with God, even as he fails to console a suicidal fisherman (Gunnel Lindblom) and resists offers of love from a local schoolteacher (Ingrid Thulin).

The Fort Worth Film Club (FWFC) partnered in 2022 with the Reel House Foundation after the closing of Fort Worth’s lone art house theater, the Grand Berry Theater. Continuing what the Grand Berry started, FWFC's goal is to build a community in Fort Worth around a shared love of film. The Club hosts free monthly screenings, focusing on films with cultural and local importance. Screenings are open to the public and are followed by a moderated discussion.
