Investigate this monumental work that took the artist 14 years to complete. In Aschenblume, 1983-97, Kiefer explores the destruction of war, rebirth, and cultural responsibility. The painting contrasts the folly of man’s work with the resurgence of the natural world. Led by a Modern Docent.
Ben Shahn’s Allegory, 1948, sees the artist transitioning from his Social Realist roots to work that is more universal. Discover the way he uses art-historical references to extend the impact of real world events. Led by a Modern docent.

See the hilarious, award-winning, one-woman show that inspired the BBC’s hit TV series Fleabag, broadcast from London’s West End. Written and performed by Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Fleabag, Killing Eve) and directed by Vicky Jones, this 67-minute play is a rip-roaring look at some sort of woman living her sort of life. Fleabag may seem oversexed, emotionally unfiltered, and self-obsessed, but that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
See Olivier Award winners Lindsay Duncan (Birdman, About Time) and Alex Jennings (The Lady in the Van, The Crown) in this brand new play from Simon Woods, broadcast from the National Theatre in London.
