Leonkoro in Esperanto means “lionheart.” It refers to Astrid Lindgren’s children’s book with themes of tyranny, rebellion, and betrayal contrasting with loyalty, hope, and courage — sentiments conveyed in much of Leonkoro Quartet’s repertoire.
