Movie music includes more than pop hits and theme songs. Classical music also plays a role in cinema, often carrying a scene’s emotion when dialogue isn’t enough. In this Timeless Concerts performance, discover Mozart in a Steve Martin comedy, Schubert in a Bruce Willis film, a beautiful cello solo in The Secret Garden, and operatic arias featured throughout Moonstruck. Violinist Keyreel Raskolenko will also perform the Irish fiddle music made famous by Titanic. Can you identify other films tied to our musical selections? Join us and find out!
Featured musicians include violinists LeeAnne Chenoweth and Keyreel Raskolenko, cellist Alice (JeongA) Lee, pianist Heejung, bassist Paul Unger, tenor Sergio Cepeda, and soprano Youna Hartgraves, with guest violinist Marina Dichenko. This event marks Timeless Concerts’ first matinee performance and our debut at the Modern. Please stay after the performance to mingle with the artists in the Grand Lobby—drinks will be available for purchase at Café Modern. Throughout 2026, our concerts will alternate between the Modern and the Holt Hickman Center.
