Modern Reading serves to expand ideas about the work in the Modern’s galleries by delving into books that relate, directly or indirectly. This season features reading recommendations by Robyn O’Neil in conjunction with the exhibition Robyn O’Neil: WE, THE MASSES in hopes of gaining insight into the artist and her work. Jerrett Lyday, Humanities Instructor at I. M. Terrell High School, Fort Worth, will lead us as we discuss our findings and visit the galleries. This is a free program. 6-8 pm

November 21; Autobiography of Red, by Anne Carson

December 19; The World Doesn’t End, by Charles Simic

January 16 and February 20; The Heart is a Lonely Hunter, by Carson McCullers
