Studio and Ballet Workshop in Collaboration with Dallas Neo-Classical Ballet
This workshop will focus on “The Audition,” the third act of Laurie Simmons’s film The Music of Regret, 2006. We will spend the morning in the galleries and studio designing wearable object costumes. In the afternoon, participants will work closely with each other and with Dallas Neo-Classical Ballet to choreograph their “Audition Dance.” The day will conclude with a performance of the class’s original choreography in full costume in the Modern’s auditorium. Lunch is provided. Ages 9-12
