Three Austin-Based Designers

  • Hear graphic artist and designer Leah Duncan talk about her home textiles and personal accessories. After two years in Brooklyn, Leah recently relocated back to Austin, Texas. Her brand started with a dream and an Etsy shop in 2008, which quickly grew to include international retailers and collaborations with companies including Schoolhouse Electric, Urban Outfitters, O’Neill, and the Land of Nod. http://leahduncan.com/
  • Studio SloMo creates high-quality stationery and paper goods with a modern and sophisticated look. All artwork is printed in-house, carefully hand-cranked through the press. Meet with company founder Sarah Wymer. http://studioslomo.com/
  • Callen Thompson was raised in the forest, in a house her parents built by hand. She sees art and design as powerful means of improving and transforming the world. Callen is also the cofounder of Spoak, an app designed to help record the stories of seniors and share them with their families. Visit with her and see her gorgeous scarves. http://callenthompson.com/
