An immersive week-long summer program for educators presented by: The Warehouse, Nasher Sculpture Center, Dallas Museum of Art, Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, and Kimbell Art Museum. DATES: Monday, July 9–Friday, July 13, 2018 | 10 AM–4 PM TUITION: Museum Forum for Teachers tuition is $250. The cost includes all instruction, materials, and lunch each day. Early Application deadline is April 27, 2018 (discounted rate $225). Regular Application deadline is May 25, 2018 ($250). Program sessions are held at each of the participating institutions and CPE Credit is available for participation.

Gallery Program

Wonderful Wednesdays is a program for families with young children led by a docent. The tour and gallery project focus on the work in TAKASHI MURAKAMI: THE OCTUPUS EATS ITS OWN LEG. Registration is not required, but a sign-up sheet is provided at the front desk the day of the program. Attendance is limited; admission is free.

Momentum Dance Company (Irving) returns for its fourth consecutive appearance in the Modern Dance Festival at The Modern.   Ian Forcher, Momentum’s resident choreographer, will premiere a group work for seven women exploring themes of tradition, artifice in conflict with nature, mental illness, and the collision of pop sensibility with high art through the lens of Japanese culture.
