The Only Living Pickpocket in New York

Directed by Noah Segan
R; 88 minutes

“John Turturro will steal your heart in Noah Segan’s elegantly tender character study . . . the kind of unapologetically local love letter to the Big Apple and its less-illustrious denizens that New York deserves.” —Tomris Laffly, Variety

Harry Lehman (John Turturro) is an aging pickpocket whose trade is yielding ever-diminishing returns in a drastically changed New York. Wallets stuffed with cash have been replaced by easily canceled credit cards, and Harry struggles to make ends meet while caring for his disabled wife, Rosie. When he unwittingly steals and sells a valuable USB stick, Harry finds himself in a race against time to return the loot or face a vengeful crime family.
