In celebration of Native American Heritage Month, the Modern is excited to present a special screening of Bring Them Home/Aiskótáhkapiyaaya, in partnership with Intertribal Community Council of Texas.
The AIA Fort Worth Design Awards program recognizes outstanding architectural, urban design, and unbuilt projects by architects practicing in the Fort Worth chapter to promote public interest in design excellence. Award announcements will begin at 6 pm, followed by a lecture at 6:30 pm with awards juror John Ronan from Chicago-based architecture firm, John Ronan Architects. This event is free and open to the public.

Special guest artists Francisco Alvarado and Fernando Alvarez will lead a one-work spotlight tour focusing on the work of Teresa Margolles in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month. Come listen and discuss Margolles’s work as seen from an artist’s perspective. This event will be held outdoors and seating is provided. This event is free and open to the public.
