“[A] polished, well-performed attempt to communicate the seismic impact of Adolf Eichmann’s 1962 execution on Israeli society.” —Jessica Kiang, Variety
Kidnapped: The Abduction of Edgardo Mortara
“It’s not surprising that Steven Spielberg wanted to do this story for years, packed as it is with the stuff of childhood peril, an alien world, Jewish heartache, and resilience. But we can celebrate now what [director Marco] Bellocchio, a driven old master, has achieved: a heartfelt thriller of intensity and intimacy in which getting saved looks an awful lot like being lost.” —Robert Abele, Los Angeles Times
Fancy Dance
“Erica Tremblay’s engaging indie drama bills itself as a crime thriller but winds up dedicating most of its energy to the connection between a Seneca-Cayuga teenager and her guardian.” —Peter Debruge, Variety

Ghostlight
“A dramedy about a construction worker finding comfort in community theater following the death of his son, the movie wrings goofy humor and heart-squeezing sweetness from its gimmicky premise and casting (the central onscreen family is played by an actual offscreen family). Unlike so much “product” on both studio and indie ends of the spectrum, it feels homemade — in the refreshing, and occasionally limiting, ways that adjective implies.” —Jon Frosch, The Hollywood Reporter
