Academy Award nominee Benedict Cumberbatch (BBC’s Sherlock, The Imitation Game, Frankenstein at the National Theatre) takes on the title role of Shakespeare’s great tragedy.
Directed by Lyndsey Turner (Posh,  Chimerica) and produced by Sonia Friedman Productions, National Theatre Live will broadcast this eagerly awaited production live to cinemas.

Young Marx

Rory Kinnear (The Threepenny OperaPenny DreadfulOthello) is Marx and Oliver Chris (Twelfth NightGreen Wing) is Engels, in this new comedy written by Richard Bean and Clive Coleman. Broadcast live from The Bridge Theatre, London, the production  is directed by Nicholas Hytner and reunites the creative team behind Broadway and West End hit comedy One Man, Two Guvnors.

Steve Story Trio

Featuring live music with Steve Story Trio

The first Friday of each month, the Star-Telegram, the Modern, and Café Modern team up to bring you live music and drink specials in the museum's Grand Lobby from 5 to 8 pm. Invite friends to enjoy unique cocktail selections, and the opportunity to dine at the Modern by night. Café Modern offers a full menu in the dining room and lighter fare in the Grand Lobby until 8 pm. A docent-led, 20-minute tour of the galleries is available at 6:30 pm.
