Meet Me at the Murakami with Art Tooth

Join Art Tooth in partnership with The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth and Tarrant County College for Meet Me at The Modern: Takashi Murakami. Known for his collaborations with pop icons and fashion house Louis Vuitton, and for vibrant anime-inspired characters, Japanese artist Takashi Murakami has blurred the boundaries throughout his career between high and low culture, ancient and modern, East and West. 
 

First Fridays Spotlight Tour

A docent-led, twenty-minute tour of the galleries is available at 6:30 pm. Admission to the galleries is $16 general admission (age 18 and above), $12 for seniors (age 60+) and active/retired military personnel and first reposnders with ID, $10 for students with ID, and free for Modern members and those under 18 years of age. On First Friday, gallery admission is free.

Architecture Tour

Docents are available to lead tours of the Modern’s building, designed by the renowned architect Tadao Ando. Group tours can accommodate 10 to 60 people and last approximately one hour; these tours must be scheduled at least two weeks in advance of the requested date. A public architecture tour is offered on the first Saturday of each month at 11 am.

The NY Dog Film Festival™ is a philanthropic celebration of the love between dogs and their people, offering dog lovers a shared audience experience of canine-themed films from around the world that inspire, educate and entertain about the human-canine bond.

The 1st Annual NY Cat Film Festival™ is a medley of short films – documentary and narrative - that honor the mysterious felines, who have fascinated mankind for centuries and continue to enchant us. 

Cats have their own unique and indescribable bond with people – even when living independently as community cats. This festival celebrates that attachment, while giving back to animal welfare groups that protect cats and elevate their status.
