Defying midlife haze, two friends seize an unlikely opportunity to reinvent their lives, quitting their jobs to restore an old bowling alley and serve the “world's greatest pizza.”

Phoenix, Oregon stars James Le Gros (Drugstore Cowboy, Living in Oblivion), Lisa Edelstein (Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce, House), Jesse Borrego (Fame, Blood In Blood Out), Diedrich Bader (Napoleon Dynamite, Office Space, Veep), and Kevin Corrigan (The Departed, Pineapple Express, True Romance).

The film takes a comedic look at the existential crisis many face when trying to find meaning and relevancy at midlife. Despite controlling bosses, dead-end jobs, and broken relationships, the two leads must awaken hibernating courage and resilience in order to take new risks and keep dreams alive.

Written and Directed by Gary Lundgren (Calvin Marshall, Redwood Highway, Black Road). Produced by Annie Lundgren and Luis Rodriguez.

Sold Out audiences of the film have remarked…

"Phoenix, Oregon is a film that creates magic rarely felt in films today. The magic happens with the closeness, friendship and empathy you intensely feel with the protagonists. They become members of your family and you one of theirs. You will miss them all when the film ends. The story grabs and holds you directly without any fancy artifacts. Insightful and truly heartwarming, a must see.”

“The performances are brilliant, sharply drawn with each individual pulling me in, sharing their individual stories within the ensemble cast as the steady, amazing performance of James La Gros, an exercise in less is more, results in the complex portrait of the hesitant wishful thinker, caught  by his youth as he  stumbles to create an adulthood he can live with. Touching. Moving. Uplifting. Real.”

"Phoenix, Oregon is an entertaining film, with a genuine regional soul (many will relate to). All the actors in the film’s wonderful ensemble create idiosyncratic, funny, and believable characters the audience will love and not want to let go. Bravo. Best bowling film since The Big Lebowski.”
