National Theatre Live is the National Theatre of Great Britain's initiative to broadcast live performances from the National's stages to cinemas worldwide. National Theatre Live performances are filmed live in high definition and broadcast via satellite to almost 400 cinemas around the world, live in Europe and some US cities, and time-delayed in countries further afield.

Alan Ayckbourn's riotous exposure of entrepreneurial greed returns to the National Theatre, where it premiered in 1987, winning the Evening Standard Theatre Award for Best Play.

Three virtuosi musicians perform major piano trios by Beethoven, Arensky, and Mendelssohn. Featuring pianist Anne-Marie McDermott, violinist Tim Fain, and cellist Andrés Díaz.

Like the rarity of throwing a pair of sixes in a game of dice, this concert provides a rare opportunity to hear two major string sextets: “Souvenir de Florence” by Tchaikovsky and “String Sextet Concert in B-flat Major” by Brahms. The artists comprising the sextet include violinists Alexander Kerr and Felix Olschofka, violists Michael Klotz and Misha Galaganov, and cellists Edward Arron and Dmitry Kouzov.
