It examines the roots of classism, racism and the lack of self-esteem within a segment of cultures which often lead to self-esteem issues.  The film contains interviews with notable African Americans including Viola Davis.

Never-before-seen testimony is included in this documentary on Emmett Louis Till, who, in 1955, was brutally murdered after he whistled at a white woman.
